"Everything about my career gets better every year.
Every year I know more, I want more, I do more;
Every year I get better."

Jolie was born and raised in San Francisco. Although she left the locale, she kept the attitude and adopted the laid back lifestyle of Southern California. Now, she can’t picture herself living anywhere else.

Her love for the arts came about at an early age and when she was cast as Queen Isabella in a third grade school play, she knew she would become an actress.

Her many film credits include “Random Acts of Violence”, “Days of Our Lives”, and more recently “Near Death” and “Pepito’s Picasso”. In addition to acting, she has directed and produced several short films including “Voodoo Blues”, “Dream of a Dance”, and “Rewind”.

A gifted comedienne, Jolie is a veteran of the standup circuit where she performed regularly at venues in the Los Angeles area.

Jocelyn Jones Actor • Teacher • Writer

I can think of no one I’d rather have onboard a project, team, or production than Jolie Oliver.
A talented actress, filmmaker, and comedian, she gives 100%—100% of the time. Plus—she’s a joy to be around!

Carter Gregory A friend with humor

Listening to Jolie do stand-up is like listening to a friend sharing day-to-day happenings; you can relate to it, you’ve had similar, but hers are way funnier.

Ruby Hinds Actor • Singer

I had the pleasure of working with Jolie Oliver in two separate productions of THE OLD SETTLER. I found her to be a consummate and giving artist.

Manuel Urrego Actor • Director • Teacher

Jolie and I met in 2001 and since then I have always been impressed by her strong, focused, creative heart and personal character. We have successfully collaborated on film, stage, and theatrical training. She has become a very accomplished director and I am always eagerly awaiting her next creation.

Jay Lynas Actor • Writer

Jolie Oliver is a treasure. As a director she doesn’t skip any steps. She works methodically with actors offering tools and steps to root a visceral connection to the character. Her technique allows the inner life of an actor's character to flourish, expanding their emotional range and leading them to an authentic portrayal.

"Transformers" "Coco" "Dexter" "911"

I've admired Jolie Oliver's sublime talent since the 2000’s and enjoy working with her. The level of pathology she brings to a character is edgy, dangerous, and genuine. Her brilliant performances are comedic yet unpredictable and both the exploration and dedication to her work are heartfelt on screen. I will continue to develop projects with her in the future. She is a lifeforce.

Don Agronsky Actor • Comic • Writer

Over the last 20+ years, I've worked with and for Jolie Oliver as a performer, producer, writer and collaborator. Much of it was effortless, some was work. But in all cases her focus, discipline and work ethic brought out the best in me and all those involved.

Showcased at Telluride Film Festival

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jolie many times over the last ten years. She’s an extremely talented actor and director who brings a unique, exciting energy to the set.

Dan Warner Actor

I've worked with Jolie Oliver on many projects and would recommend her to anyone looking for a director, actor, or comedian. Her attention to detail and storytelling in every aspect of her talent is exceptional. She's a triple threat as a brilliant director, a fabulous actor and a hilarious comedian.
